Kevin and Patrick were wonderful hosts. I traveled solo without a car, and everything still felt easy. It was about a 30-minute ferry from Vancouver, then roughly a 40-minute taxi ride to the property. They shared super clear coordinates and directions, so finding the place and checking in was smooth.
About the suite itself, its honestly hard to put into words. The view from the room is cinematic. I caught myself smiling more than once just staring out the window, its a TRUE 10/10.
The suite design is also spot on. The furniture, fabrics, cozy blankets, and all the materials and finishes feel very intentional, from the stonework and textures to the little details that make it feel elevated and calm. Everything looks and feels high-end without being flashy.
If I could mention one small thing, I personally like my showers extremely hot, and this one could be a bit hotter for my taste.
Its not a cheap stay, but its well worth it. A view you’ll remember for a long time. Thank you!

A very special place. I appreciated the recommendations for places to eat nearby and the hosts were very quick to respond and very helpful. I'd love to stay again. The sauna is among the best I've been in.

We loved our stat at Tsuga Beach Inn. The location is beautiful, private and very peaceful. The room was very nicely appointed, beautifully designed, very clean and an easy place to feel relaxed. If we’re in the area again we will definitely try to stay here again.

The space was beautiful with an oceanfront view, we enjoyed lying there just listening to the waves and taking in the fresh air. Super responsive host when corresponding with them, we were missing coffee cups to use the machine upon check in and it was promptly resolved when it was brought to our host’s attention.
Outside of that, we noticed on the last night there was a stain on the duvet, but the space was overall well maintained and clean.

This place was dreamy! There was no detail lacking to create those most intentional experience! Hate to spoil any surprises, but spa like music plays as you enter the outside hallway and even binoculars to look for whales/bears/sailboats! And yes we spotted a small black bear making its way to the water below! We loved every minute of the stay here!

I stayed in the Mahonia Suite at Tsuga Beach Inn for three days and absolutely loved it. The space is beautifully designed—peaceful, elegant, and surrounded by nature. Every detail felt intentional, from the cozy bedding to the forest and ocean views from the private balcony, a perfect blend of comfort and quiet luxury.

We loved our stay at Kevin & Patrick’s place. The deck looks out onto the ocean, is very quiet and private. Didn’t get to try the sauna but maybe next time. We’d gladly stay again!

This place is stunning. Every detail from the design, to the space, the view, and amenities are top notch. Our favorite was the new access to the private beach and sauna with a view, it was simply breathtaking.
The only con is that the walls are pretty thin and you can hear the neighbors talk at times and at their most intimate moments… Would be back again regardless! Highly recommend.

The hosts were very responsive and helpful, and it was clear they had put thoughtful attention into every little detail — from the perfectly fitted room-darkening shades to the luxurious rainshower. The house was spotless, quiet, and well equipped to suit our needs. The check-in process was organized and efficient. We were visiting the Sunshine Coast for a short getaway, and the location couldn’t have been better. Thanks very much for a wonderful stay!
